Here's a pic, it's not great but hopefully it will give u an idea

welcome to the world of plants, this is the most common way you end up with snails in your tank, depending on tank size you can get some fish that will eat them

Thanks for the reply, I can't add fish yet as I'm mid cycle but surely they can't survive a cycling tank?

The snail will survive, net them out, check out ways to remove them they multiply fast

Good look

About what? Snails come with plants always have, I try clean my new plants in tank water to TRY remove any..

As above, this is very common. I had the same thing not long ago. They look the same as the ones I inherited - some sort of ramshorn snail I think.

Try and get them out as you see them as they reproduce with themselves and you will be over run in no time!!

One option is to get an assasin snail that will get rid of them.

We have both learnt the hard way - rinse your plants before you put them in the tank!!!! :hyper:

Will an assassin be ok in a cycling tank? I know I wish now I'd have cleaned them they already had started eating plants

i have 6 they are good but are hardly making a dent in the bladder snails what you have but doing good
