Snails - in my betta tanks

Gary's one evil little snail, isn't he?

Give him some boiled cucumber weighted down so that it will fall to the bottom. He should just LOVE that. Lettuce would be good, too, but I think they like cucumber more.

You can feed baby snails anything that will fit in their mouth. I don't know how big your baby snail is, but should be able to eat stuff like baby brine shrimp or stray food particles in the tank.

What's the best way to weight down a cucumber?

I've used plant weights to weigh down cucumber slices, or sometimes some people bury part of the cucumber in the gravel.

So...
Last night before I went to bed - around 11 pm or so - I dropped in 2 hunks of cooked cucumber. The girls were attacking one, and the other one was a few inches away from Gary. I figured within a day or 2 he'd find it and have a little snack, then I'd have to take out whatever was left so it wouldn't rot in there. This piece was probably around 1" X 1" X 3/4".

All I found left of the piece that was near Gary this morning (around 8 am) was a thin piece of cuke skin. He ate the entire thing minus the skin.

The little guy must have been starving. lol
