Small Plec?

ok, ive got quite an established community tank 46gal. currently it houses a small sail fin 3". he's been in there about 3months and is doing great.however im not going to be able to upgrade my tank anytime soon, so i want to do the right thing and give him to my lfs (a good one though, i know a few) and get a smaller plec, maybe something a bit un usual.Any suggestions?
