Gah I see those little bitty things and just go . No wonder they don't live long for people, cause they can't do anything except eat and sit.
Betta Condo
Now I understand holding bettas in this while cleaning
Holder
Now how can they breath, eat...
Bulb Tank
I quite like that lightbulb tank actually... would look great in a little kids room with some technicolour gravel, some (dead) coral frags and sea monkeys. I wish sea monkeys would catch on again, because the world would totally be a better place if they replaced bettas as the aquatic pet of choice for tiny spaces. You only have to feed them once a week. You never need to change the water, just top up evaporation. You can keep them in spaces like that comfortably, and you can have loads of them.
Failing that, can somebody PLEASE invent a Robo-fish? PLEASE?
Surely people who see those and buy them MUST know deep down that its not appropriate? People aren't that stupid to see that the 'tank' is far to small for the fish to thrive in, no matter what they are told otherwise.
I love those bulb ornaments but as you say, not for anything living, no fish, not even shrimp.
I'd steampunk it and turn it into a mossarium though.

I have emailed the person detailing how its cruel and suggested instead that they put some hawaiin red shrimp in there if they must have a centrepiece.
