Good to know it was from the nem slowswim :). Those things are really really aggressive and I'm not surprised at all you get a tingly feeling when you touch them.

This is not to say that when equipment fails (insulation on power cords, for example) that fatal currents cannot be impressed in SW tanks.

That's more the case I was referring to as opposed to the ability of flourescents to impart very small amounts of current. Because of that possible scenario, you'll never catch me using a grounding probe in my tank. I'd rather get shocked sticking my hand in the water than having my livestock all die due to a dead short from a pump or heater failure. Been shocked before in more places than I can count :blush:
