ok i just got back from vaction and i had to teach a friend how to feed and do wc's and blah blah blah  i came back and there are very few less go figure
an i just looked at someones 13 day old fry and they look almost as big as my 5 week old fry should i feed more or what they are growing so slow

u should stuff them lil guys untill they look liek mini balloon mollys, food is very important along with heat and clean water ;)

A temperature of about 80-82 is really good for them, and clean water is an absolute must. There is no "too fat" for fry at this age. The fatter, the better. Feed them as much as they will eat, but take great pains to preserve water quality.

Even with the best of care, their genetics may still be determining them as slow growers. Some fry grow fast, some fry grow slow, under identical conditions. But, by maintaining the best possible conditions in your fry tank, you are eliminating other factors that may be inhibiting growth, and it's pretty well all up to the genetics.
