I saw the best looking mantis ever at my lfs the other day, purple, green, red, all these colors in a very healthy specimen, i wanted to buy it so bad....

Heh, I wish a local store would ever get one in. Out of the 5 we have in Buffalo and 3 nearby in Rochester in the past year and a half I've only ever seen one single mantid for sale. And it was one of those massive Squilla ruguosa ones that gets like 5" and looks like a bumblebee.
