Sick Betta - At A Loss As To What The Problem Is!

I have finished the course of Anti-Internal Bacteria meds and he really doesn't look much improved.  This morning I've done a big water change with no added salt.  I will wait until tomorrow and see how he is since it seems to take overnight to spot any difference.

The only next course of action is antibiotics.
Wish the internal bacteria medication by interpet had helped.

He improved a bit 24 hrs after the water change.  I've also noticed something new... he is hiding from me!  If he is swimming around and I come and greet him he rushes and sits under the arch.  That's weird!  He wasn't like that before... so now I am wondering if some of the sitting is that... he being scared?  His fins aren't quite spread like they used to be but not as tight as they were either.

He is swimming around plenty this morning while I am sitting across the room.  But he is definitely scared of me for some reason... no idea why as I've not done a thing to him other than medicate him in the last while.  He even hides under a leaf or his arch when I come to feed him.  I put his food to soak in a tiny red bowl and walk away for awhile and he swims around the corner watching the bowl... then I come to dump it in and he hides until I go away. 

I don't get him.  I think I need to keep watching, it is hard to decide how he is doing if he hides now when I come to look closely.

I can't think either what he scared of, and hiding if he's never done it before.
Wonder if it's anything to do with medicating his tank.
Maybe add a few more hiding spaces for him to he fully regains his confidence.
