Show Off Your Tank!

Moss looks good. I have a piece very similar, but mine is the other way up. :good: Get some rocks around it and plant through it to make it look more natural. :good:

Yeah when I have some spare change, I am going to replace all plastic with real plants. It's a work in progress.

In st louis, rivers are major transportation as well as there being a lot of factories and mills.....i don't know if I would want that in my tank.

Breathtaking! Nice work with the long grassy stuff & the school of fish fits right in.

Very cool wood, but I think it would look better the other way around too.

A scrub in some hot water really should do it. I've got rocks in my tanks from who-knows-where and they've never been a problem once they're cleaned up!

The reason why I have the wood as it is, is the tank is a hex. Doing it that way opened the whole bottom for my cories. Will it take away from their play area to flip it over?

You should try it, if you don't think it's working flip it back over-done. :shifty:

NICE, Dieses!!

And just a side note to everyone, I've found the very best way to keep the glass clean on the outside is with gauze, commonly called cheesecloth! You don't have to use ANY cleaner whatsoever ... just dampen a chunk slightly and clean until it's dry. It doesn't leave any streaks and is completely safe.
