Well actually, 125g, 75g, 2-55g, 47g, 2-10g so only 7 in use. In my basement I have a spare 50g, a 40g, and a 75g, all spareOk so you have 2 10 gallons, a 40 gallon hex, a 47 gallon, 2? 55 gallons, a 65, a 75, and a 125??? That's 9?

The plants really softened up your tank. It is really looking lovely and clean.a few pics
If you wash the sand properly it will only cloud the tank very slightly for a few hours, at most.
If the tank is reasonably new and there hasn't been time for too much mulm to accumulate, you might be able to change with the fish in. Syphoning the gravel, and any associated crud, out with a wide bore pipe, like a piece of hose would be your best bet.
