is no one going to help whats the point in this forum ill just change to another one that helps if noone replys to anyof my messages

Well I suppose it might help if you asked a slightly more specific question. But I accept there hasn't been any reply to your question.

To answer, I'd always add tap safe or similar to water that's come straight from a tap before putting it in my aquarium. How much to dose? Well that's just a simple case of mathematics. Work out how much water you're changing and apply an appropriate ratio to the 1 cap: 45 litres as instructed.

well, if I had any chlorine in my tank I'd worry and yes, I'd put Stress Coatv(or similar) straight in the tank. 0.8ppm seems high and I'm surprised you've not lost fish yet. Most municipal supplies are in range 0.5 - 3ppm (I think, don't quote me).

You sure about your test result?

ill check again two mins mate

i addded stress zyme yesterday is that any good

Why are you testing for chlorine? Who advised you that this was needed?

All tap water contains chlorine, there's not reason to test to see what level it is.

A dechlorinator is all that is required to ensure your fish and bacteria colony are not affected by chlorine.

why haven't you replied? What's the point of being a member if you don't answer? Think we'll just have to get anotehr member instead.

that made me laugh :shout:... you should add tap safe or leave the water to stand so the chlorine go's out or it will hurt your bacteria
