She Passed!

The absolute most important command for a dog is a recall command. If your dog goes to take off you MUST be able to recall it for the dogs safety and the safety of those around your dog! (My opinion)

cheers,

atm i'm trying to train the in-laws not to let the dog sleep on the bed (which mother in law actually still TELLS the dog to get on the bed), they get fed up with the dog barking any time theres a noise (esp with the door) and yet when he does it they reward him by then letting him outside and playing ball with him, he only has dog food about 2 times a week, the rest of the time my father in law actually cooks extra of what he's eating for the dog, AND gives the dog his to eat BEFORE he sits down to eat himself.....

btw, nice alsations, the one dog i had that i really liked was an alsation, he was lovely, he was big (even for an alsation) and soppy, it was when my dad was a cop, and he was a failed police dog, because they couldn't get him to bite or even act threatening to anyone, so my dad took him home, lovely dog he was.

well now its up to my parents, i started my new job this week (cheers) so i am not home enough to continue my work with the dog, so its up to them to be consistant with her, in order for the training to sink in.
at the moment the three are feuding because i have established myself as a pack leader of the dog because i was unemployed so i had a ton of time to dedicate to her and the training, now that i have started work its up to them to continue her training. i think my days off i am going to have to put all three back though boot camp
