OK, SG has been high for a while in my new tank, thanks to the LFS I got the water from. I got it down to 1.028, and yesterday, switched out about 5ga of water, replaceing it with water at 1.020, and it didn't even go down a little! Would that of been obvious? or should it have gone down a little (like say, to 1.027?) I'm starting to get so frustrated!

I'm going to try to take a sample to the new LFS that I go to, to use their refractometer.

if ur replacing it with salted water it wont go down very much, and the higher the sg the slowe it goes down, use ro water with out salt

I know.

I forgot you use this forum too lol...I got sick of the people on Nano-reef. Only nice people to me were you, Helfrich, VicSkimmer, and...I forgot the other person lol...
