Setting Up My 54" Tank For Channa Ornatipinnis

Nearly there now I think, still waiting on my tall silk plants & the background, but I think they like it, heres one of my little channa

Here's the tank:

I think it will looks tons better once the background is on & you cant see my naff wallpaper border anymore, i've added some floating plants, lots of java moss & some live plants today, the bogwood arrived but looked out of place so that will go in another tank now.

Finally all finished I darent add up how much I have spent on everything but I love it & I really hope my little channa are happy here, at least until they all start fighting & I have to split them up lol.

Great looking tank, and the juvis look fantastic. You will be real pleased when they grow and their coloration comes out more.

And it's nice to see more SH owners creeping out of the woodwork!

Thanks, I will try to get more piccies later. The little guys are right nosey lol, I've put a chair out there & when you first go out, they are hiding, but after a minute or so they all come out for a look, they put their little mugs right up against the glass to see you, so cute.

One has claimed a large piece of slate as his own & will scrap with the others who get near, I think I chopped their prawn too large to start off with, but was very fun watching 4 of them scrapping over one bit like dogs lol.

I love them, full of character & so cute

same in my tank, people walk into room, and say oh thought u had babies with them two, yes just give on sec, boom they all come from nowhere, so eager to see you, knowing it must be time for food, yes i love watching them tearing apart a peice of prawn,bring's out there true natural side
