have you been to the Range for plants? they have huge ones ( approx 12inches) for 3,50 and they are really nice too, i know nelly has lots on the surface of his tank for them, so for that price you wouldnt mind breaking them off the holder to float.

tank is looking fab by the way,cant wait to see pics of the babies when they arrive

Thanks Sheila, I dont think we have a Range here? Northants is not good for shopping, thank god for ebay lol. I brought a pack of 10 x12" silk plants for £10 yesterday, if they are good quality I will buy another pack to float I think, I found some hanging plants as well 12" with a sucker at the top which look good, so i've ordered one of those to try to.

Yes i just through mine in after defrosting it, i use hot water in a cup for about 1min, then change for cold, go for a ciggie, come back, chopp prawn's then feed away, somtime's i finger feed them, sometimes throw it in, it makes us laugh when they try to destroy a peice of prawn, they are evil and yet so small

Cooked or raw prawns?? I can get both from the fishmonger, he saves me prawn heads for the DPs, would the snakeheads like those too? Muscles & cockles?

I darent go on ebay anymore till I sell some more stock, otherwise we will be eating beans on toast till payday lol. There are some good bargains on silk plants though, worth a look.

Seems I am in the middle of a Range black hole lol, the nearest to me is Nottingham I think, probably a good thing though, I think i'd spend far too much in there.

Moving swiftly back to prawn heads! lol They get them every Friday, just a couple, clean them out well & fill with little bits of chopped prawn, the DP's go mad for it & I hope it helps their beaks stay healthy.
