Scleromystax Species C113

I thought a while ago when i was looking at their site. It said they only shipped to USA and UK. I dont rekon thatd ship to AUS. If they did i think it would be realy hard to get them in thru quarantine :S Might look into it more once i get a few more tanks running next yr :)

Yeah just email Bryan. He'll know all about it. He's very helpful.

Oh! I am so tempted by that C113  And I doo have a new tank coming, but I think it is already full. Hmm. I could sell the Burundi front and use his tank. :hyper:

Has anyone been successful in breeding the C113?

What size are they?

And the barbatus?

Being that this species has only been recently introduced to the hobby there haven't been that many attempts to breed them but they have been bred by a Swedish aquarist.

What size are they?
Size varies a bit but is in the 2"-2.5"

And the barbatus?
Barbatus have been bred quite a few times as they have been around a lot longer. Their size is around 2" or so.

As for exporting to AU, not worth the cost or time it takes to go through the quarantine process unfortunately.

Do you accept money orders? What's with the "C" numbers like C113, is this to make it seem more rare?

Do you have any info on any of these fish?

There are many genera (a word?) of fish that new species are being found constantly, so fast that they can't be classified or named fast enough. Cories are one that is in a big flux of reclassification. Hopefully, someone who knows more will respond also. But if Bryan said the fish is rare, it is.

He has some newly discoverd Rasaboras on AquaBid that are --WOW! They are being snapped up at a high price, too!

Yes, we accept Money Orders, PayPal, or Western Union.

As for the "C" number, you can find out "why" by going HERE . It is used to as a designation for undescribed Corydoradinae species so that people all over the world talk about the same fish.

There is not much information about them available as they are rarely seen and were only described and found within the last 2 years.

Yeah yum! yum! I considered seeing about a small shoal, then I saw they were already bid on! Not going to try to get them from someone who will probably breed them and make them available or even consider a bidding war.

But as soon as I know about the tanks, I will see you about a shipment of the C113.

I asuume C113 is a species of corys. So I'd assume they are non-aggressive, good little fish right?

They are a species of Scleromystax and the males can be territorial if not given enough space.
