Schooling fish options...

You are a bit confused son. Sparkling would do fine - these are little 1 inch fishes. Also i said even panda would find it cramp.... but perhaps you didn't read what i wrote.
Oops.... Sorry. I got sparkling confused with pearl gourami. But as for the cories I really like the peppered ones. They should be ok right?

You could probably do 5 or 6 peppered - (remember they really need a decent group and some plants will make them feel safer); i think it is a bit cramp but not intolerable. When i say a little plants try for something like this (oh and for the sake of the cory use a soft fine substrate):

Ok good to hear. And yes I'm doing lots of plants and some black aquarium sand. About the sparkling gourami... After some research ive decided not to... If it was 2 inches or more maybe I would... But even then the colors arent as good as the gudgeons

If you opt for smaller Cories - habrosus, pygmaeus, hastatus - you could add a school of 15 individuals that would be better for the fishes themselves.

But wouldnt those be the only fish then by doing 15?

Just need to be sure... tank is 24" x 12" x 16" ?

I wonder if I should do some asian stone catfish... They look cool and fit my parameters

asian stone catfish
You mean Hara (Erethistes) jerdoni ? No. Too many bottom dwellers/feeders. In addition jerdoni is an almost static fish that cannot compete for food with any other fish. In species tank only.

No, I ment that id replace the choice of cories with 4 of them. And about your other post... I really want to do peacock gudgeons... And in another post I made (actually in a lot) people have said that my stocking choice was great. I just wanted to see what other schooling fish options there were on this thread...

And I answered you on Hara "asian stone catfish" jerdoni.

In a small tank as yours, you cannot maintain many fishes in ideal conditions, that is the main idea in aquariophilia.

Bottom level will be dedicated to the beautiful Tateurndina ocellicauda. I guess 1 male 2 females ?

Well... Ive tried to find shops that sell females (online and in stores) but have had no luck. Although I have heard males are non aggressive and only show their fins. But, really? I cant do cories with them? I mean, I heard that in my tank they'd do great. Also I heard that they are mid to bottom not just the bottom. I have barely any aquarium experience so dont think that I'm trying to be smart or anything I'm just asking questions. So, I am sorry if I sound rude or something

Really ? Easily available in France. Tateurndina are a little territorial when it comes to protect eggs and fingerlings until free-swimming fingerlings.
Not enough space for Cories if 3 Tateur. Perhaps possible : 1 Tateur + 10 mini Cories.
Tateur and Cories are both mid and bottom dwellers.

Rocky998: So, I am sorry if I sound rude or something
No worries ;)
Could you please make a recap of vital fishes and optionnal fishes ? I'm a tad lost....
