I signed, #5503. My comment: The dog is used to its handler, so let the dog live. He's served his community. You wouldn't put a retired war veteran to death so dont do it to the dog.
I've signed it, I always thought that when a Police dog was retired it was offered to the handler to keep and then if turned down rehomed! I think its horrible that they would do that to the dogs!
