Have to agree as @Retired Viking mentions that a TDS reader is handy to have around in your kit.

I’ve had one for years and is fast to give you your water readings -

You are correct, it does also take the temperature, really nice device that has saved me headaches when it comes to mixing RO and tap water. There is also a nice PH pen meter the PH-009 (I)A that I also use. Makes it so much easier to test the water.
