lol@macbook comment Carl, I love, love, love my macbook.
I would never consider going back to a crappy laptop running Windows. I`ve had my mac for over a year now and haven`t had one bit of bother with it, yet when I was running Windows I was forever dealing with crashes or reinstalling the OS

Both HP Envy 15 and Macbook Pro cost around £1299. There are lots of programs that only run on Windows and not on MacOS if its called that. Apple is going downhill :yahoo: Now thats what I call junk :shout:

Both HP Envy 15 and Macbook Pro cost around £1299, but the windows is much more bang for your pounds :hey: . There are lots of programs that only run on Windows and not on MacOS if its called that. Apple is going downhill :yahoo: , especially with the new MacB. Air that doesnt even feature Adobe Flash player. Now thats what I call junk :shout:

The mac does everything I need it to and without constantly crashing or hanging so I`m happy with it, not one of the progs I have on the mac has cost me a penny either so I`m even happier at that ;)
We have the macbook, iphones, ipads and ipods so we`re happy with the Apple products. Hubby is even looking at getting himself a macbook as he`s been very impressed with mine :)

The only Apple product I have is a 16GB iPhone 4, but already its got a crack in in. It is quite resistant though, I dropped it into my aquarium a few months ago and its in good working order.

Anyway back on topic, how is your tank doing :shifty:

Tank is doing ok, Badis are doing well in fact they`re out in the tank a bit more since I put the pygmy corys in, think they`re like dithers for the Badis which is good :D

I haven`t put the 'tree' in yet, I`m a bit wary of putting it in yet because of the silicone curing. It`s 2 days now since I attached the moss so I`m thinking it should be ok to put back in tonight maybe

I`ll post some pics once it`s sorted :good:

i am guessing you have used aquarium safe silicone. The stuff i used to affix the background inside my main tank said hard in 1 hour water safe in 24. Think you will be more then fine now after 48 hours

Yeah I used aquarium silicone which says 48hours and to keep dry until it`s cured fully. But I`ve been spraying the moss with a mist of water so that it doesn`t dry out so I`m a bit dubious about the 48hours timeline

I am sure the tank will look great with the slightly wonky tree in it. And your making me jealous with your Badis  , but it will backfire when I get 3-4 L260

Aren`t most trees wonky?

I think to be on the safe side I`m going to leave the Tree out of the tank until Tuesday and hope my Son can be trusted to keep spraying it as we`re going to be at my parents until Monday. I don`t want to risk putting the tree in and for 'something' to go wrong while I`m not here :X

Regarding the L260`s......... :p :p :p :p :p

Well, the 'Tree' is now in the Badis 35L. Not sure yet whether or not I actually like it but the male Badis was in the crevices of the wood straight away so I guess he`s happy with it

Any suggestions if you think it needs 'something more' would be welcomed B-)

The rocks and the patches of moss/grass at the front make it look too linear.

The tree and plants look great where they are. Maybe just rearrange the rocks and grass and it will look a whole lot different.

I really like it how it is, give it a few weeks and the moss should fill out as should the carpet. Bet the badis are loving having some new cover. Mine are even more active with the new floating lettuce and now that the moss has doubled in size ;)
