Nice to see you llj!

Yeah the Twigs are special little things, they do get to about 10-15cm so bigger than the normal fish i keep, but they work in the tank.

are you gonna get another school of fish?

Nope, the Gouramis need to really be in a species tank and that's what this is. They do school really well though. :good:

How much were the Twigs Ian?

It appears i picked up a bargain. My pair were £22...I went to Brigg garden center today and they were £25 each in there. I picked up some high grade CRS :good: And a couple of stems for the back of the tank.

heres another pic of the Twig

I have just added a couple of more moss stones in the corner, this brought the shrimp out the play...

These 3 breeds can be kept together I believe, there's a table on here somewhere.

These lot won't, they will if i start adding the Black bee shrimp. I have done that before and ruined the species.

Thats good then! I'm really loving my Cherries... Very interesting to just sit and watch them.

Mate how are you getting on with your open topped tank? Any fish or shrimp suicides?

There has been a couple of Cherries on the floor, the rest seem to be alright. I love the open top feel of a tank. It gives a totally new dimension to an aquascape. :good:

added a few stems at the weekend to the back ammania gracilis and hygrophila polysperma 'rosanervig'. It seems to be growing quite nicely at present.
