Whilst feeding rays a sea world, my friend managed to have a fully grown one come out of the water onto his chest. Althought judging by the size of it, you would need a HUGE tank for it.

Has anyone ever kept a manta ray? Seeing as you only tend to hear of freshwater rays.

EDIT : I just remember it would be virtualy impossible to keep one as newborns are 4 feet and adults can grow over 22 feet, but i'm thinking of any other saltwater rays.
 
i got stung about 18months ago, not a nice thing to happen.

my tank is acrylic and 36" wide and ide never ever go anysmaller than i have now. i sold my 8x4 because i had to but part of me still wishes i still had it.
