Ok, while it's on the upper tolerable... Slowly raise it to 28-29 in the following week. Warmer water increases the discus's metabolism and can help their immune system fight off pathogens.

If you could relocate the glass, cories, bn for the time being and raise the water temp up to 30-32 would be even more beneficial. some peoples suggest to go even higher. It's not a complete treatment but it put more chances on the side of the fish. Some parasites and other microorganisms that might contribute to HITH don't thrive as much at higher temperatures.
Thank you so much for this advice. I will set up another tank in the morning (its 12.36am right now) and take the glass, corry, and bristlenose out, and will raise temp. Thanks again for this advice

I am in a routine with water changes, so a little perplexed where this has come from.
How much water are you changing and how frequently? It may be that you need to increase both, especially with the bristlenose pleco in there.

Make sure you have increased surface agitation to maintain a good level of oxygen.

I do a 50% water changes, usually weekly
The last one I done was after 2 weeks, as I was away for a week, and that's when I noticed these white things on my discus fish.

I would definitely increase this. 50% weekly is fine for most fish but discus need more, plus bristlenose are known for being particularly dirty.
Could you manage 75% every 5 days?

Yes absolutely. Will start doing that. I only have 2 bristlenose in the tank. But appreciate any advice I can get right now! Thank you

Melafix is unlikely to help as it's just tea tree oil.

Waterlife Octozin

Can you get Waterlife products in Australia? That brand is sold in the UK so their meds don't contain antibiotics.

An alternative is Epsom salt, pure magnesium sulfate. Not aquarium salt. No dyes or scents added to it, be absolutely sure of that. You can buy it in the bath section at many stores and pharmacies for people.

Dose 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt per 10 gallons.

I would also soak the food in an Epsom salt mix. Do 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt mixed in 500mL of water.

Soak daily food in a teaspoon amount until No further excess water.

There are some studies that magnesium sulfate is effective against hexamita. If I couldn't get my hands on metronidazole, this is the route I'd take next.
