Yeah I had already fed them the strawberries but my brothers were asking all sorts of questions lol

I feed my annoying neighbors chickens watermelon rinds. Its funny to seee them peck at it.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE chickens... to eat!!

I currently have over 20 monarch caterpillars that are in crisalis stage. The others 20ish are babies or eggs. I do this every year, and find them wild on my milkweed.

I will upload pictures later. Its cool that another person is doing this.

I do the same thing each year. Currently I have 2 caterpillars and 7 chrysalis. They were collected from milkweed in my yard and raised from eggs. Unfourtanetlly one of them didn't create a fully formed chrysalis so I don't know if he will make it.
Last year, I raised and released over 35 Monarchs.

Im so glad to hear many other people are doing this! Me and my family are doing this because they are on the endangered species list.

I don't think they are officially on the list yet. But they are headed that way. We hardly ever see them this far north anymore; used to see them on ever milkweed when I was a kid. So it's good to see them making a bit of a comeback.

Last year we rescued two of them from a soldier bug that had already sucked several caterpillars dry. Those were special ones to Badgerling, because we knew they wouldn't have made it without her help.

It's a bit like really lean beef. I've had a few friends who said they didn't like game meat. Not one has ever felt that way after sitting down to my venison pot roast.

This is called Game then? I prolly had it already, didn't like tbh, I don't like beef either, to me it tasts like cardboard. Anyway, I prefer low fat meats like chicken/turkey.

I just saw a stink bug the other day killing one.

Thats why I try to rescue them all, and put them in a special net.

Yeah they just punched in a subdivision.
Its kind of sad as it was once a big green forest.
