Random Discussion

A very important fact about all TFF members is this.

We're cute. The whole bunch of us.

Some of us are cute like fawns, songbirds, iguanas, puppies, jewel Cichlid fry, frogs, kittens... we run the whole range of cute here.

Noticed this and thought it sort of interesting....

Supposedly subliminal messages in advertising are not allowed but if this isn't a case of it, it sure comes close. ;)

This is the front end of a Bronco. Note the shape of the running light. It is the power symbol that you will see on the on/off button on any electronic device. On a subliminal level it is suggesting that the vehicle is powerful. ;) No, I don't really think it qualifies as subliminal advertising but it sure is suggestive. ;)

Marketing. Big trucks are big money. That symbol is interesting though. Smart.

I thought it was interesting when car tail-lights were humanized, with the eye and eyebrow look. Or actually, often made to look like cats, in a very cartoonish way.

Cat! Which car was that? A Mercury cougar?

I feel like one of the biggest challenges styling electric cars is that they often dont have a "mouth".

I think most modern cars suffer with back window styling. Just because they have beepers doesn’t mean you don’t need to see out the back window.

Does this forum have a thread for small, aquarium-related discussions that don't warrant their own topic? I see some people just use their tank journal threads for that, but everyone stopped replying to mine

Sorry to hear...

Usually for things like that you can just use "Tropical Discussion"

Yeah I just feel a little weird starting a bunch of different tropical discussion threads at once. I've been on hobby forums before that had an "on-topic random thoughts" and "off-topic random thoughts"

Understandable

I think our version of that is "Tropical Discussion" and "General Chat" lol

You could always start a thread in Tropical Discussion called something like 'random fish keeping thoughts' along the lines of this thread in General Chat but for bits and pieces about fish keeping.

I knew there was a thread somewhere, I just couldn't remember what it was called
