Yay! Break time lol.
Do some stretches, maybe take a small walk. Just take it slow though so you don't pass out or get your heart beat going 80000bpm....
I can stretch all I want with the wires on 😄 (but I’m not supposed to stretch, thanks EDS)
I plan to go out to lunch and also my new wheelchair is ready so I’m gonna go pick that up while I can 🙂

Did you get that new wheelchair that does 0-60 in 3.2 seconds?

Enjoy your lunch Juice! (Or as best you can. Please watch out so you don't get something that gives you a bad reaction)

Really!?
I've heard of those strange reactions to just water... I wonder what causes it.
MCAS causes the reaction for me. Also causes me to have a histamine hives reaction the the sun and hot/cold. It’s crazy. Thankfully I don’t have it nearly as bad as some people. My great grandma had MCAS and reacted to her own saliva

But also anything entering my stomach, water, food, meds, my own saliva, anything causes pain from the gastroparesis. But I have to force myself to eat anyway :)

I honestly don't know what to say at this point... 😕
Ik this is probably a bad recommendation, but does tums or pepto help with stomach uncomfort for you?... It probably doesn't but just an idea

Nah tums is an antacid, so helps with some pain but my pain is because my stomach is paralyzed:)

Too many tums will cause kidney stones. I speak from experience. Omeprazole
may be a better option to decrease stomach acid production. I take it and have for many years.

Have you thought about maybe using a motorized wheelchair? Or do you like the manual? Each side has its benefits I suppose.

Yah, I know that's why I figured it wouldn't do much...
Do you have a bad reaction to prunes?...

Oh... I don't want kidney stones lol. I have tums before I have my pizza.

Very true, omeprazole can cause bone degeneration though if taken long term so there is always side effects to watch out for. Quercitin is another good option

Motorized and/or manual with motor assist is my eventual goal if I need it still in the future, as manual is hard on my shoulders, wrists and fingers with dislocations and when the CRPS makes my right arm unusable, but they’re like 6-10k 😳

No, why? Prunes help loosen your stools but that’s not an issue for me, my stomach is just paralyzed. And in order to eat enough to make a difference for the stools I’d be on the ground curled in a ball from pain lol

Try not to have it too often. If you’re lactose intolerant try lactaid before eating dairy

Yah that makes complete sense... I would imagine it hurts after a while when you keep turning the wheels. Do your friends and close family ever help push you around? I would hope so...

That is extremely expensive... Kinda sad to be honest.
Maybe someday you can get one. Hopefully you do.

Hm... Wasn't sure if it would help at all. Doesn't sound like it would 😕
Is there anything that could help your stomach move, meds or not? Or is it a condition that's not really treatable?
