As you may already know that my family have a furniture store and my fish room is in the store.

I just flooded my fish room and 15x15 meters furniture showroom with water! About 20 sofa were damaged by that! This was the worst thing happen to me and probably family business

Am I the only one here who floods the room often?
How did you flood the shop?

I flooded the pet shop's fish room once. It was Saturday morning and I did a water change on the system. I had the hose trickling back into the sump and was serving customers. This guy came up and said excuse me. I said can you wait a moment, I am serving someone. He waited a few minutes then said excuse me again. I said yes, he said the fish room has water everywhere. I went oh bugga.

I woke up at 3am one morning to a ticking sound. I looked around and there was lightning shooting across the floor. I turned the power point off and the lightning stopped. There was an inch of water on the floor and the level was rising. I opened the back door up and this water rushed in so I shut the door. I spent the next 3 hours carrying everything out of my room. Turns out the department of main roads was repairing a road and had to pump out ground water. The water was being pumped onto the vacant property next door to my place and the soil became waterlogged. Then it flowed onto my property and started flooding the bottom half of the house. We had a split level block with my bedroom and garage on the lower level and the main house a meter above. I lost a heap of fish books and magazines because of that.

I just have my ugly cheek mole removed finally!

My fish seems to forget me though...

I was playing Plants vs Zombies on my phone and forgot that I was filling the water...
Water changes: Another entry on the list of activities that do not reward multi-tasking. (Shaving, mountain biking, and serious discussions with Mrs. Badger also rank high on my list)

If a person is yielding and gentle-hearted, are they ruthful?
That’s very deep for the middle of a Thursday afternoon...I’ve had to look up the definition of ‘ruthful’ and I would say, no...

The definition I have is, “full of or causing sorrow or pity”... I don’t think they are the same in my understanding of the terms....very interested in what others will say.

Very thought provoking conversation starter ?

Well, see, if someone is stubborn and hard-hearted, they are ruthless...

If someone is ruthless they are “having or showing no pity or compassion for others”...

Stubborn is unwilling to change their mind or actions and hard-hearted is lacking in sympathy and understanding.....?
