@ Jay, cheers dude :good:

@ Ian, I know mate, kind of need it in this scape as some needs to penetrate down to the lowest plants and even with wider lens' it wouldn't so added 3 spares. Only algae I have is BBA at the mo but that was from as I'm sure you know the fluctuating CO2. Changed my tubing for it as well as the first lot I was sold was just airline so wasn't helping lol. Gonna drop the water level for a 50% change today and spot dose it as its on a few spots with highest flow near the top. Will do a little how to clear BBA thing for the algae section as lots of people seem to get it.

Such a great scape! Absolutely beautiful. I love the more jungle-y tanks. Me jealous.

Thanks :), don't be jealous, its a pain to keep trimmed lol.

First Staurogyne trim and re plant today, really filling in well from those 1-2 grow pots, really impressed. I'll chuck a pic up tonight when I dont get the window reflection in the glass.

But trimming is fun. It's like gardening. Except it's inside. And wet.

Lol I don't have grounds for compare, I only do the digging and its back breaking :). Sorry forgot the pic as I watched the Haye fight round the neighbours last night and didn't come home till 2AM, I know the fishies are more important but having an evening out after not for 11 months having a littlun kinda swayed me, well the beer swayed me but I'll put one up tonight, promise. :)

Couple of shots after first Staurogyne trim, spreading nicely, getting a few side shoots now so fingers crossed, this will be the first time I've successfully grown it. Also thought I'd add my current problem, after initial set up issues with the CO2 and a leak I got lots of BBA. Thought I'd add some pic's of the treatment and progress with it as I know its quite a common algae.

Seriously need a good camera that wont show the bright greens as white lol.

Day 2, day 1 was treating by 50% water change, while water was at 50% mixing 50ml of Aqua Carbon with 150ml water, spraying directly to affected area and leaving for 10 mins before re filling the tank. You can see the tips of some is starting to tun red already.
