110 gallon 'show' / 440 liter: 60 1/2 inch by 18 1/2 inch by 24 3/4 inches high

I think it may be a 110 instead of 120 but it was sold to me as a 120 from Petsmart. :dunno:

Above dims give you 454 litre or 100g (uk) which is 120 g (us) - though when calculateing the height measure upto water level. and if you want to get more precise then you should deduct about 10% for displacement of decor/gravel etc....

www :)
I am not THAT worried about it... :p ;)

I am hoping to buy these driftwood pieces from ebay for my tank.

Along with a lot of live plants and java moss.

Going to go get some ghost shrimp today as the leftover food settles to the sand and is really visible! I don't feel like vacuuming the sand after every feeding and the cories don't seem to be doing there job. They are more interested in wildly swimming around the tank. :p Oh yea, and playing in the sand. I looked in the sand this morning and there were like "tracks" of where the cories had dug in the sand and played there. So cute.

Anyways I will be getting an army of ghost shrimp to clean the sand for me.

Just in case you didn't already know Discus prefer water temperatures of around 30c to thrive, this will not be suitable for a few of the fish on your 'wish list', although nothing will die at that temp their life spans will be shortened and they could be adversely affected.
Also, IMO it is not adviseable to keep Clown loaches with Discus (I know you have left them off your list - just wanted to make the point) as they are quite boisterious fish whereas the Discus are slow moving fish that like to 'hang' in the water. This combination has led to many stressed out Discus and will prevent them from looking as stunning as they should.

Your goldfish is a coldwater fish so he's probably not going to enjoy warm tropical waters shared with lots of other fish. FYI 60"x18"x22" is a 100 gallon tank not 120.
Check the link:

Also, your glo-lites and rasboras do best in school of at least 6. Same goes for your cories. Whoops, just saw that you said you were building them up... cool!

If you read a page or two back I corrected myself and posted it was more like something like 65"x22"x24"

I KNOW goldfish are coldwater but he is doing fine in my tropical as of now. He will be moved to the 29 gallon as a coldwater setup as soon as my pregnant molly in there gives birth.

I am building up my schools and I know they need to be in larger groups. Hence why I went out and bought 5 more glass cats for my lonely glass cat.

I know it will be a pretty cool community so I will be happy to add more pics everytime I update my tank. :D

EDIT: It is 65x18x24

you should really buy an oscar, theres alot of live food in there for it already :)

Blue rams as live food? :grr: I would NEVER feed any of my fish to an oscar. Even though I really wanted one, I will just have to wait until I either get a tank or when all of my tropical community fish die.

Although there are 2 55 gallons in the paper that come with 2 oscars along with 2 30 gallons...I may have to call on that. :hey:

Then I could transfer the community fish to the 55 gallons and use the 120 gallon for my oscar and use the two 30 gallons for goldies. Now...I just need a place to put them all. Oh yea..and the money!
