Quick Help Needed On Resizing Photos For Upload

hi there im having trouble getting my pictures of 1 or 2mb to be less than 100k so i can enter fotm can anybody suggest good ways to reduce the file size please please

Download Irfanview It's free and easy to use.
If you are using an online host for your pictures, check with the host's site to see if it uses any method of downsizing file sizes.

If you can upload them, PM me the links and the dimensions you want and I will give it a go for you in photoshop.

You upload your image, change size, sharpness, and quality and it will tell you the new file size before you download so if you need to adjust you can.

If you are on Windows install GIMP and select the the quality you want

If you are on Linux just go on GIMP (installed by default alot of the time)

If you are on Mac install GIMP and do the same as on Windows.

But if you are not into photo editing a website would be the fastest way

You can resize them after you upload them to Photobucket.com.

hi thanks all for your help. i managed to get the fils size under 100k but the picture was way to big. so il use one of the sites you have suggested to re edit them for a better upload
