My red girl who had lovely flowing fins has loads of splits and nipped fins. They look worse daily. Will this fin nipping continue? She seems to be the worst off, the rest are ok but she had the longest fins.

Also I was gonna start water changes to help them grow back quicker. How often should I do them and how much should I change? Can I just cup the water out which would be faster or do I need to syphon all the gravel like when I do my weekly clean.

My nipped girls fins in my tank grow back no bother on their own.
My tank gets cleaned every 2 weeks and I have had no problems with their fins.
If it makes you happier though then do more water changes, siphon the water out with the gravel cleaner but don't nescessarily syphon the gravel :)

Ok thanks. It just annoys me she had such lovely fins and now they're wrecked. Hopefully they'll grow back soon.
