Green high on ebay. :good:

No point adding co2 if you're not dosing ferts.

Adam (FeV) has loads of Assasin snails, pm him.

He has some full golds too. ;)

Try TNC, I'm about to change to it from TPN+ (as it costs a BOMB). It's highly recommended and meant to be just as good as TPN+. There are two different ones TNC Lite and TNC Complete. TNC Lite is recommended for lightly planted tanks or if you do not add any co2 or carbon. TNC Complete is better for tanks that are more heavily planted and/or add co2 or carbon. It's good stuff! Follow the directions on the label for TNC Lite but I've been advised that I should triple the dose of the Complete when used next to carbon or co2.

Wax on Grasshoppa.
PERFECT ANSWER :* saved me reading up on TNC and then getting confused because there's 2 different ones :D
You get from ebay or?

Green high what? :S i just kept getting green high heels showing up, green isn't my colour though :fun:.
/facepalm - atleast co2 is lowering my pH levels lol.

Snails going on hold for now as my 'red plant' is pretty much on the life support machine

I'm just a perfect kinda gal ;) Yeah you can get it from ebay or Fluid Sensor Online :good:

NOTE TO SELF - Don't attempt water change during a bad mood :X
Water everywhere, stood on plug, filter been a ___, hot water from mixer tap problems.

THEN ended up knocking the wood over and it wouldn't sit back up , really tempted to pull this tank apart and start again.
If the red plant dies off, i'll have no choice really but the apisto seem to be settling in nice :S

Been there dude. It always ends up with the hose on the floor flooding the house, I'm out of towels, my kids are screaming, and I left the Prime in the other room.

OR you dump a bottle of ammonia everywhere :shifty:

I hear ya, don't do a water change after 10pm on a "school night" is my rule. You don't know how much your congnitive ability diminishes until you do a water change :p

iv just bought an internal water pump for my water changes, 1200 l/h

submerge pump in tank, hosepipe going to sink / drain

5 mins later 80% empty tank

then just fill the sink up, swap the pump and hosepipe round, nice full tank done in less time than it would take to fill 4 buckets!!

Hook a T piece on the filter intake hose just above the filter itself with an on/off 'switch', connect hosepipe and drain to refill hook the hosepipe up to the tap and the water will go out of the intake filter pipe - wont be as quick as the water pump but you wont even have to get wet hands.

Will look into the water pump though as it'll come in handy for big cleans :good:

Only cost about a tenner aswell pal

UPDATE:
Alternanthera Rosaefolia is pretty much dead, was going to pull the full tank up today and re-scape BUT
looks like my apisto might have spawned under the wood :hey: - never seen signs like this from them before :hyper:

Wanted to move all fish over to a plastic storage box but only filter i have is yan of them uber small ones and none of the ex700 media will fit into it really, will the filter floss be enough?
I'll be doing daily water changes of course, there'll be 9 cardinal, 3 panda cory, 1 platy going into the box.

^ If the little ones have survive the night anyway, aint checked yet
