I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but I hope someone can give me an awnser
A week ago I bought a Betta, and a 2.5 gallon tank, with a filter and heater. I am in the process cycling the tank.
Today the power went out for 2 - 2 1/2 hours. I had done a 50% water change about an hour before the power outage. I tested the water after the power came back on. The nitrate and ammonia were 0 and the PH 7.2 (what it has been the whole week).
Is there anything else I need to watch out for with a power outage? Will there be any long term effect? Is there anything else I should do? If anyone knows please help. I have never owned fish before and I am not sure what I should do.
