Post Pic's Of Your Bettas And Its Home

I think I have the same tank as you.

I made some changes since the last time I posted any pics of Albert Fish and Marie. Changed the decor a bit and switched the Whisper filters out with Lee's Discard-A-Filters, which I have no intention to discard, but rather to rinse and refill as needed. Also made more lids after changing the filters. Since the new filters are submerged, I no longer needed lids with the corners cut out for the Whisper filters to stick up out of.

Albert Fish's tank, which will be getting a really silly ceramic frog with a gaping mouth in a few days. It will replace the fluorescent cave.

Lids, same as before, just without the back corner cut out of them for filters.

drey where did you get that lil rock in the rite hand corner of your tank the one with the hole/tunel in it i want one :)

My fish still doesn't have a name. Here's what he looks like, and a pic of his new home. It's a quaint little 2.5 gal, but he really seems to enjoy it! There's a little bubble nest in the upper right hand corner under the floating leaves.. he's been defending it like crazy! <3

I recommend making regular changes to the tank.

My betta seems happiest when I change the layout of the tank or what is in the tank.

It might be my betta but he reminds me of a bored teenager at times, when I make changes to the tank he seems be happier exploring the changes.

I actually got it from some fish store nearby.. it's called a Cichlid Stone, and is made of ceramic.

Wow you all have some very nice fish tanks! I really like LionMom's 20 gal that's been split up. I have to get pictures of the tanks up but I have my newest Betta boy, King Henry a lovely mustard fish.

His tank is currently cycling so he's protected in a betta condo in my main tank. He'll be sharing a 10 gallon (with a divider of course) with my favorite female soon.

Why, thank you! :)

And you are right - there are a TON of lovely fish & tanks on this thread!!!!

Your King Henry is STUNNING!

Thank you, I am very pleased with him as well. And do you have a separate filter in each section of your 20 gallon? It looks like it from the picture... is it a lot of current?

Yes, each compartment (in both my 20 & 10) have separate filters. When that pic was taken, I had power filters in there & used rubber bands to attach AquaClear sponges in front of where the water comes back into the tank slowing down the movement. I have since changed to Whisper In-Tank filters for 2 - 5 gal. tanks which are adjustable.
