i have 3 pitbull plecs in my 60l

any others??- is a otto classed as a catfish, if so, is there other types of catfish similar that eat algae

10 otto would be ok if you watch your stats or one bn that's just my say.

ok, im thinking maybe looking at the size of a bn, well then about 4-6 otto's would be the same. but if there isnt enough algae in my tank, what other foods can i supply for them

For BNs? Algae discs and veggies (such as zucchini) will pretty much take care of them. If you are asking about otos, I have no clue.

My otto's eat Algae wafers with no problem.

im just thinking how to get algae wafers to the bottom, more likely the fish will eat it first, maybe i will try cucumber

Wafers sink matey mine don't like cucumber but iv recently iv tried banana's and they love it
