Very very nice tank. I'm *hoping* that I can achieve a tank that is half as nice as that. Luckilly plants are very cheap for me, even if they are only common ones. I can get vallis for 20p each, and they can't count properly so you get more. One problem-

BTW nice gold rams, I'm after a pair myself. Glad to know I'm not paying an over the top price for them, they're £6.50 each at the lfs but I can get a discount on top of that

Thanks mate. I managed to rescue two small portions of Brazilian Water Ivy. They've quadrupled in size already.

Thanks Jim. The fast-growers are a temporary measure to acheive a quick balance and beat algae. As suggested in my journal I plan to eventually make a switch to more demanding, slower plants.
