Pin-worthy Threads.

Hi, is there a section where threads, that need pinning can be posted? For example like the drop checker guide in my signature, that could do with pinning but the planted section is getting pretty full. And also the thread on African cichlids and plants. Lots of others too but just pointing a few out.

If not, how about having one thread at the top of every forum, which contains links to all the pinned threads? A bit like this, but obviously one in each section.

I know about that thread, but clearly not everything gets pinned as there isnt enough room. The plants and cichlid thread i mentioned in my OP was posted on there over 1 month ago and the drop checker thread was posted about 4months ago!

Did you contact the moderator of the forum where you want them pinned? He or she will decide if it's going to be helpful to the members and clean it up, if necessary, before pinning it. If you don't send a PM, they might not be aware of them.

no, but there is quite a few more aswell, such as DIY pressurized CO2, How to build a moss wall. That is 3 already lol.
People are always asking about CO2 & drop checkers, but i can remeber llj saying a long time ago there isnt enough room for many more otherwise you have to scroll down half a page to get to the questions. lol.

I see what you're saying now. What should do is make a FAQ section at the top and move the pinned threads into it. I agree with you and will bring the subject up in the Mods forum.

would suggest setting it up much like the beginners resource centre where we have got around the problem of getting all the info in without it taking up half the page in pins in a similar way.

well i dont visit the other sections as often. I just know of quite a few other threads that need pinning/ linking but they just end up getting lost in the forum. There is probably threads like this in the other sections too but i am not sure, so perhaps other members chip in and ask you etc.
