You make a very good point, nightlife20

It seems like there are a few members who are just looking for an opportunity to take a cheap shot at someone who has a problem. The worst part is that these people don't bother to read the thread to see that the conversation has advanced to where the problem has been identified and being dealt with.

I think there must be members who, instead of reading the starting thread and going down, must read the last post and maybe a few above it and post without having a clue as to what the discussion is about in the first place. They just end up making themselves look stupid. :S

It seems to me that these days too many members are more interested in putting someone down than they are in helping him. :X Personally, I think that's a real shame.

if you are refering to me, then i did read all the posts... the solution so far is to get another 5 gal tank???

i was making no cheap shot, i suggested giving the fish away. i mean no offense, but i highly doubt he will be able to care for the fish properly. i know what it's like to be young and poor, i'm sure it will be hard for SimonA to get a good sized tank for him. thats why giving the fish away may be a better option

and note i have not called anyone stupid or retarded

I don't wanna fuel the fire for this anymore, but I do have to agree with both nightlife and Inchworm. You both bring up valid points, especially where the overall tempermant of the forum has gone... :/

I mainly wanted to agree with the fact that it seems that most members open the thread, look at the pretty pictures, and immediately scroll down to the end of the page to add their two cents, when ten to fifteen people already have. I don't think thats right at all. If your going to post, at least take the time to read what everyone else has said. All you're doing is making the person feel even worse.

Yes, we all know the tank is 5 gallons...he's not trying to hide it, because it's in his siggy. Yes, he is trying to find another tank, but I do know how hard it is (and how much money it costs) to set up another tank (especially when you're that young), but at least he realizes that the angel DOES need a larger tank...thats the first step. And the fact that he is actively looking, is the second step.

So I say good for you Simon...I know you will find a large tank you can afford...just keep checking those rummage sales and the papers and you are bound to find something you, your pocketbook, and your angel can all enjoy.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT.....

I HAVE HAD THE ANGEL FOR PERHAPS 2 YEARS AND THE NEONS FOR 3-4+ MONTHS AND QUITE FRANKLY I THINK THE ANGEL IS MORE SCARED OF THE NEONS THEN THE NEONS ARE OF THE ANGEL. REMEMBER I HAVE 14 NEONS VS 1 ANGEL.

LIKE I SAID MY ANGEL IS A BIT OF A ODDBALL AS YOU WOULD SAY AND I THINK HE IS QUITE HAPPY BUT I WILL TRY AND GET HIM A BIGGER TANK.

I AM 14 SO MONEY IS HARD BUT JUST BECAUSE I AM 14 DOESNT MEAN I CAN'T TAKE CARE OF FISH PROPERLY.

Gezz shouting at some people seems to be the only thing that will get it through there thick skulls.

Aj86 I dont think so.

Thank you Phantom Thief, Angel Lady, tekknocolor, nightlife20, Inchworm, Arashi for your kind comments It seems that you lot are the only nice ones here.

PS sorry to those that I didnt mention but I only skimread the topic.
