Your off to a great start adam :good:

How badly is the upgrade bug nipping at you? ;)

nice work and very nice tank mate....cant wait to see how mine is 3 months from when i started...mines just gone past 1 month from startup and after 2 weeks of setting up my first nano i had the upgrade bug kick in so i changed to a 20gallon.... you must be gagging to upgrade by now lol

hey you tricked us, that green star polyp isnt green in that photo, how dare you :)

Thanks for the positive comments, the star is green its just my camera has problems picking it up.

The upgrade bug kicked in a while ago and the tank is half built but a house move slowed it down, anyway here is a pic of the new tank its about 40 us gallon plus the sump,

I like to think of it as a large nano mainly because its just over 2ft but its 17" deep and 21" high so loads of potential.

Looks great. One thing you should adress. Do not have horizontal bends in drain lines. Drastically reduces their flow and increases risk of clogging. 45 degree angled runs are OK, but horizontal is not good :)

Its been changed to 45deg now and had a wet test tonight, I will start a new post found out tonight it takes about 175 litres which i think takes it out the nano section !

Oh and ski i will be looking for a few suggestions soon
