Your lovely Bulldog looks like it could be a Chaetostoma L444, just like mine that sadly went missing for three days, only to re-appear dead last Tuesday afternoon. Really gutted, I held out on getting one for months and my 5-foot had what appears to be ideal conditions (moderately hard water, 22C, aeration/current from FX5 and APS2000EF filters). She seemed to come and greet me most times I went down to the garage, dashing over to the front glass, seemingly really enjoying the FX5 current after being in 26C/calm water at the LFS for months (which part of me wonders if this took its toll on her, or is my tank setup not clean enough for these sensitive fish).

What foodstuffs have you seen your one eat? Mine never ate in front of me (which really concerned me), but she regularly pooped, despite offering various things mid-afternoon and just before "lights out" (Tetra Prima, Hikari algae wafers, defrosted daphnia/bloodworm, courgette). Just before she went missing, I had read about "painting" their home rock with food "glued" by egg yolk.

Had my little one a while now (got her off another member on here) she is always out sitting on her favouite rock at the front of the tank, i wasn't aware that they are sensitive though she's doing well so far, mine lives a 24 degree with some Betta Falx and a load of Cories in a 15 Gal tank.

Foodwise she eats everything that goes in the tank  Catfish pellets, Shrimp Pellets, Bloodworm Pellets, Frozen Bloodworm, Cucumber and Carrot. the food goes straight on her rock as its the only unplanted area

these pictures are at least 3 months old, hes such a #29### to catch. i have a mangrove root type stump ordement, and there spaces in side i cant reach but he knows i cant get him, when i gravel vac the whole tank, i have to put something nice in there that he will eat and then wait and then try and remove the tree thing before he can hide in it! ill see if i can get another one

Great photo of the plec on you're hand, they're usually too shy for that with me!

got a picture of my rusty a couple of days ago, feasting on some cucumber. its rare to get a pic of him, and his body markings are looking particuarly vivid in this (bad) shot. and just to top it off he had his glorious rusty red fins raised. and then even better it seems half my fish managed to find themselves inthe same shot all at once
