Wow, great plecos so far.
Simon... man, that male albino BN scares me lol. I don't think I've ever seen one w/ a nose that looks quite like that before.

I'll have to get some photos of our 3 plecos. Well, they're hubby's since he wanted them to begin with.

I'll post some older photos though.

Sailfin. He/she is about 9 inches long.

Another we got from Petsmart. DH really liked the markings on this one. Not sure what kind it is. Bad photo when we first got it. It's SO difficult to spot in the tank. It completely blends in to anything dark. Guessing, it's about 4-5 inches now. Still a small one.

And then the newest addition. The royal plec we got for a steal ($7). DH loves this fish.
It's SUPER shy though and always stays on the same piece of wood during the day. It does wander a bit at night from what I've seen.
These are photos of when we first got it. It's still about the same size I think. Maybe 2-3 inches.

I'll try to get some more photos soon if I remember to... and if the plecos cooperate :D

Another of the Bulldog
GEDC0911.jpg

Your lovely Bulldog looks like it could be a Chaetostoma L444, just like mine that sadly went missing for three days, only to re-appear dead last Tuesday afternoon. Really gutted, I held out on getting one for months and my 5-foot had what appears to be ideal conditions (moderately hard water, 22C, aeration/current from FX5 and APS2000EF filters). She seemed to come and greet me most times I went down to the garage, dashing over to the front glass, seemingly really enjoying the FX5 current after being in 26C/calm water at the LFS for months (which part of me wonders if this took its toll on her, or is my tank setup not clean enough for these sensitive fish).

What foodstuffs have you seen your one eat? Mine never ate in front of me (which really concerned me), but she regularly pooped, despite offering various things mid-afternoon and just before "lights out" (Tetra Prima, Hikari algae wafers, defrosted daphnia/bloodworm, courgette). Just before she went missing, I had read about "painting" their home rock with food "glued" by egg yolk.

Your tank is too small to house a Common pleco. Even a 200L tank is too small. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :look:
