Here are my Mr & Mrs BN Plec enjoying their courgette!

are they a breeding pair nice pic btw thanks for posting

Yes they are a breeding pair - had them both for about a year now. The first few times they laid the eggs got eaten. Ive only known them to raise one batch sucessfully and they lasted about a month in my tank then sadly were never seen again

My pair of Longfinned Bristlenoses.

Say hello to Ike and Tina. First we have Ike, not camera shy in the slightest, munching on a sweet potato:

There really nice do you have to cook the sweet potato before you put it in ? how do you way it down thanks for posting the pics mate

Exceptionally beautiful bristlenoses! :good:

You don't have to COOK cook the potato, but I do boil it for a shot period of time. It helps to release some of the tiny air bubbles in the veggy and makes it less buoyant. Sweet potatos I've found also tend to sink rather easily. Zucchini and Cucumber I boil for a bit longer to get them to stay down. Just run them under some cool water for a tick after you boil them so they aren't piping hot if your BNs are anything like mine and go after the food right away!
