Phyllis Tropical Aquarium Purifier

Has anyone tried one these ?
I was thinking about adding one to my 500 litre cichlid tank.
I'm hoping it would help make the water crystal clear and reduce the tank smell a little.
I'm not looking to extend the time between water changes, just interested in the units other benefits.

Tried googling, but can't seem to find a decent review or comments from users.

Hi,

For around £30 or so, you can get an ozone machine off Ebay. Does the same job, only a lot cheaper!!!

I bit the bullet and installed a philips tropical aquarium purifier to my 450 litre tank. Installs easily enough and seems to be doing it's thing.
Not overly noisy considering the tank is directly behind my couch.
Seems a nice product, but I'll see how the water looks in a few weeks before buying another for my 320L
