Yeah as much as it makes me sad I always value the happiness of the fish so I will maybe do something else or leave the tank as a no animal tank with just plants

You could do a betta, some shrimp, some snails, or even try a small saltwater tank?

yeah possible though I've to keep bettas before kinda feel like been there done that, maybe a shrimp tank.

Yep if I got some monster tanks it would be a different story but for the moment Mano is all I’ve got maybe one day

I have considered them what sort of personality do you think they have. Doing a lot of research I think gardneris are the nicest

I’ve never personally had a betta imbellis and don’t know much about them, but maybe somebody else does! I know they are one of the wild type bettas
