The water is hard, pH 6.8, no ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are fine.
I don't know exact details but i got my water tested by a trusted store and it was all fine as usual.

I had my water tested from a trusted store. They told me it was safe...oh, how it wasn't. Get a test kit!

We have read so many times of a store saying the water is 'fine' when it is not fine. Did you get numbers for the tests? If not, always insist on the numbers. The only 'fine' numbers are zero ammonia and nitrite and nitrate under 20 ppm.
You fish problems could be due to the store misleading you about ammonia or nitrite levels. Once you can test for yourself you'll be much better able to decide if the water is the problem.

I was doing research on water conditioner and it says test if you add to much. There is not enough chlorine for it to bind to do it binds to oxygen molecules. Depriving the fish of oxygen. I will Try and locate the article for You. Not for an argument. But so that we can judge if it's from a credible source or not. So we make sure to give the correct info. That's all. I Hate thinking I knpw something to find out it was wrong. I just want the correct info. And I hope you help me figure it out.

Fish stores should have to check and see if someone has a nitrogen cycle card or make them watch a video and take a test before you are aloud to purchase fish...it's a cruel what they are doing. I have learned allot after killing 20+ fish in 2 weeks. But hey. But as long as it's been 2 weeks or less bring em' back. They will give you more. Bet they don't do that with dogs or cats. Unfair. Fish are animals also. Get a couple Oscar's and tell me they don't have emotions.

I have never heard of water conditioners reducing the oxygen level, even temporarily. It might happen but I would say it is very uncommon. Whether Seachem have done research into the water conditioner called Prime, and found it does deplete oxygen temporarily when you overdose, I don't know. This should be investigated though to confirm one way or the other.

I don't trust everything Seachem says, they have some lies/ very misleading information on their site and they aren't willing to change it.

Kanaplex (aka Kanamycin) is an antibiotic and antibiotics do not kill fungus. They have been informed of this and responded by saying people don't know the difference between a fish with a fungal infection and a fish with a bacterial infection. They aren't willing to change the info on their site. There are several things like this on their site.

I would never purposely try and mislead anyone. The screenahot that I posted was not the original reference. The one was video talking about how people use stress coat as a medication.
