Just made a trade with a local lad, he was looking for some glass to mend his 5 foot aquarium so I cut it and polished it and in return he's purchasing the bulkheads for me.
So as soon as they come I can get the holes in the base done and start constructing the tank. All systems go.

Hi Scott,
Nothing to report as yet, still waiting for bulkheads to arrive so as I can drill the weir holes. Then its onto building the tank proper and fitting the weir box. Until they arrive things are pretty much at a standstill. Should see some progress next week some time alll being well.

Well the wee skroat whos getting me the connectors has finally got in contact and is bringing them along to the local reef club meeting on Tuesday evening. Then I can get the base drilled. At long last.
Should really have not entertained him and went and got my own. Possible problem envisaged as I think he got them from different sources which in turn poses a plumbing problem for moi as regards to pipework, I may have to source my pipe and connectors from various outlets as well. Not the way to do business IMHO.
Will keep you posted.
