It was very scary! You should have seen how many siphon pipes we had rigged up leading to the garden drain just in case We used hoover pipes so we could drain it quick!WOW Looks stunning. Bet that was scary filling it and hoping theres no leaks. Love the geos aswell,
I took some videos of my clown loaches shoaling last night. I was up at 4am and they spent hours shoaling up and down the front glass Not all of the clowns were in the shoal but you get the idea, will upload them later!WOW! Thats a nice tank! We need fish pics...
I know, my OH wanted rays but they just take too much work and specialist knowledge. The tank underneath may house some of the smaller ray species eventually though. Kev would have filled it with rays, lobsters and fly river turtles LOL!That tank is screaming out for rays!
You said clown loach though, have you got a definitive stock list?
I've put my foot down though, I love my clowns.
I have in this tank:
Around 30 clown loaches (should have counted them when they went in but I think there's about 30)
1 x Ruby shark
1 x Flying fox
5 x Gouramis (gold/three-spot etc)
9 x Rotkeil severum babies (will be taken down to a pair once they are old enough)
6 x Geophagus abalios
3 x Congo tetra
2 x Swordtails
1 x Synodontis eupterus
I am considering adding more clown and more congos once the tank has matured but this won't be for a while.
Kev also wants a Red-tailed characin so we'll probably get one of those
