I plan to do a oto species tank. It's only a 10G i know it's small, it's it's all to the little otos.

I also want to use the tank to experiment:

-Sand
-Live plants
-Slate

I know ottos love sucking on things for algae, the slate will be perfect. Before i introduce them, i plan to put some stones in a jar of water in the sun, around 2 large stones maybe? and the ottos can feed on that.

My question is what can i feed them AFTER that?

Do they eat flakes? Algae discs? Hikari sinking warfers? OR just LIVE algae?

All of the above, plus occasional small doses of frozen bloodworm.
