Oscars ------is A 40 Gallon Uk ----ok For 1 To Go In

oh ok
so what big fish can i fit in there than

i will just go & see

high - 1 ft & 7cm
long - nearly 4 ft
& the other one - 1 ft & 8 cm

For big fish you need big tanks. End of really.

the know that but what is the biggest fish i can get in there

There are lots of fish that would fit in there too many to list. It would be easier if you decide what type of fish you want to keep then we can come up with suggestions.

Personally is it was mine i'd go with a pair of keyhole cichlids with some corys at the bottom and a shoal of harlequins as dither fish.

Read through the fish profiles and see what you like, then research.

Dont know if it helps but my first tank was a 45gal , yours should be bout 3ft rite?? or just under

I put dwarf cillids in mine after a while, bit more of a challenge than neons for example (not that there is anything wrong with the humble neons!) and you can add other community fish if you want a change??
Cichlids sorry!

Yeah i think so. us gallon is 1 litres = 0.264172051 US gallons. a 4ft seems plenty big enough!

So if you know how many litres your tank is, use the above to convert!
