Oscar Has Stopped Eating His Pellets

I've had my betta oscar for over 2 years now and I've always fed him a mixed variety of Flakes and pellets. When I first got him he use to always spit out his pellets and not eat them, but then after a few days he ate them. Recently I've noticed he's been spitting out his pellets and not eating them. What do you think is wrong? He is still eating his flakes normal but not his pellets?

As stated, try some de-shelled pea's,,,,,this is why i feed my fish on multiple things,sometimes they go off something, try some live bloodworm

Don't feed for about 3 days to start. Toss in one pellet, let that be it. Bet that pellet gets eaten.

agreed with Tolak and Nelly. feed a bit of pea and fast for three days. see if you notice his poo and what color it is etc. i bet he eats the pellet too. be careful of overfeeding pellets, can lead to internal problems in bettas, especially "elder" ones.

bloodworm = protein
too much protein = BLOAT / CONSTIPATION

I thought that was the problem to begin with..............

TBH if he is still eating his other food then I wouldn't be too worried. Maybe he just doesn't fancy pellets at the minute or he likes flakes better
